Dunyon Family Reunion

This past weekend Jill, Scott and I had the pleasure of going up to the Heber Valley Camp, and boy did we have a great time.  Nestled up high in the mountains, we were able to view some very beautiful country.  Scott loved every minute of it, starting with the activities at the waterfront. That's our future home in the background.  It's currently on the market for $7.2m, so if anyone would like to lend us $7.1m, we'll let you use it anytime :) .
Ahoy! I'm a sailor, I sail!
Here's Scott getting suited up in his very cool lifejacket - which he really didn't like.

The human fooseball was a hit with the kids and adults - Great job Dennis!

A doe cooling off from a hot day.

It was great to see all of Jill's extended family and to catch up with them.  It's not too often that we get to see some of her aunts and cousins.  We can't wait till next time!

Hot summer nights

On hot summer nights, who wouldn't want to work in a hot garage building shelves?! Matt and Dad were crazy enough (and cajoled enough by me) to get started building a desk and shelves for our office, so Saturday night after James' baptism, they converted the garage to a workshop and got gritty. So far the unit looks fantastic! They got the bulk of the work done in a few hours and now all Matt has to do is the "pretty" stuff.

And...the other big news is that I got really tired of having strangly hot hair, so I chopped it off!! That's what happens when you have two hairdressers together in one place. But I love it short and it's MUCH cooler and easier to do (now that I've had a week to practice). So thanks Mom and Sarah for making my hair look cute - Matt loves it, too!

And I can't create a post without a picture of our growing boy! He loves the pool (and loves the spa even more - or is that me?) and has become quite the chatty smiley boy as well - it's never tough to get him to smile for the camera.

Yesterday I came back from putting Scott down for a nap and found that Sophie had taken Pooh Bear captive - I think she still needs to learn how to share toys with Scott.

Take me out to the ballgame!!!

Yesterday morning Jill I were getting ready for the day and she had overheard a story on the news about the baseball game (Las Vegas 51's) later that night. She suggested that it would be a lot of fun to go and catch a game! I politely nodded in agreement and said "sure", not thinking she was really serious. So at work I started looking up tickets and contacted Adam to see if he and his family wanted to go. They were good with the plan and it was all set! The funny part of the whole night was my sweet wife (who had forgotten that she had suggested the whole thing from the beginning, afterall it was 6:30am when she suggested it). Jill turns to me in the car with a big smile on her face and says "I'm so glad you suggested this, it will be soooo much fun!" I just looked at her with a big smile and chuckled. The game was great. It was a blistering 105 degrees at gametime! We got to see some great homeruns one by Andruw Jones, a double by Rafeal Furcal and a lackluster performance from Nomar Garciaparra. Thanks for the idea Jill! Here are some the pictures from the game.
