Getting bigger!

Sounds like Sarah was bored at work and wanted a new post on our site...you betcha! I realized it has been two weeks since our last post, so I took a couple pictures of Scott today. He's getting bigger - we'll find out just how big on Wednesday at our next doctor's visit...any bets? We're hoping that he's around the 7 lb mark. He's just starting to smile a little bit and I caught a half-smile in this picture. His latest activity is staring at the fan on the ceiling when I wrap him up in a blanket or looking at the Q-tips in the jar when I change his diaper. Ahhh - the joys of being a new mom!

Sophie's spotlight

I didn't want Sophie to feel left out, so I made a little video of some of our pictures with her. She's a great friend to Scott already and diligently monitors each nursing session - even in the middle of the night following me to the couch. She even protects Scott while Matt plays the Wii - she thinks that Matt swinging his arm around is threatening and barks accordingly when Matt's arm gets too close. She's still our little princess. Enjoy!

Two weeks and still going!

Just wanted to add a little thank you to everyone who has been so helpful these last two weeks - most of all the family. I have been so blessed by everyone who has taken the time to listen to me weep on the phone and bring us meals - Matt actually might get to eat before 10:00 pm tonight! Little Scott and I are doing much better and he is growing thanks to all the help we've had. We'll send pictures soon, but I just wanted to send out a hello and thank you to everyone!

Happy New Year!!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy an prosperous new year. I'm not a sappy sentimentalist by any means but as we look forward to a new year, may we take a few minutes to reflect on the many wonderful blessings we enjoy, and have been given. As we continually look at all of the many blessings the Lord seems fit to bless us with, we will find ourselves filled with joy and love.

We apologize because we haven't posted any recent pictures of Scott, our computer went down last week and we are in the process of replacing it. So hang tight and you should see some pictures posted in a few days! Both Jill and Scott are doing very well, however we could all use some more sleep!
