Reunion Time

It seems like summer came and everything went into hyperdrive - even with the rising gas prices. But summer also means that you get the chance to travel and that means visitors! Two of my freshman college roommates - Shannon and Kim - came to town last week and brought their families with them (minus Kim's husband Abe), and we had a ball catching up. We haven't seen each other for at least 8 years, so you can imagine that our mouths were in hyperdrive trying to tell each other all our stories! But the best thing we discovered is that we're all doing well and have very happy and successful lives - no small feat! It was wonderful to catch up and see good friends again - thanks! I'm sure we'll do it again.

The fun thing about getting together is to see all the children. Kim (in the red shirt) has 4 boys and 1 girl - and her daughter was born a week before Scott!. Shannon has 2 boys and 2 girls, so you can imagine the fun we had in my little home! It's just crazy to see what 8 years can do!

Now of course I have to post the latest on Scott...he thinks he is quite the big boy because he is moments away from being able to sit up on his own! I can't believe six months have flown by already and our little boy is getting bigger. He's a smiley one, laughing at everything and loves all his cousins. We also discovered - must to our pleasure - that he loves the pool!

And of course Scott loves to work on the computer (what did you expect?). We visited Grandpa Dunyon while Grandma was in England, and Scott got some good Grandpa time helping him download some new programs for his computer. By the look on his face, I'm not sure what exactly he downloaded, but I'm sure it was fun!
